Postgraduate

If you already hold an undergraduate degree in music, you may be eligible to pursue a postgraduate degree in music.

The Master of Music is a postgraduate degree by coursework and offers study pathways in Performance Studies, and Performance and Pedagogy.

The Master of Philosophy and the Doctor of Philosophy in music are postgraduate degrees by research and are generally open to graduates who have completed an Honours year in music.

CASM offers specialist postgraduate supervision in the field of Australian Indigenous music, and welcomes enquiries from applicants seeking to undertake a postgraduate degree by research in this field.

CASM is a node of the University of Adelaide's National Centre for Aboriginal Language and Music Studies (NCALMS) alongside Kaurna Warra Pintyanthi (KWP) and the Mobile Language Team (MLT), and encourages interdisciplinary research and research training in Australian Indigenous music and languages.
