Instrumental Insurance

Musical instruments, along with other items such as phones, laptops and bicycles, are classified as personal property by the University for insurance purposes. The University's insurance policy does not cover personal property. As such, the Conservatorium strongly advises that students take out an insurance policy to cover their instrument/s. There are several insurance companies that offer affordable instrument-specific insurance policies.

Please see the University's Legal & Risk page for further information relating to University insurance policy.
