Adelaide Voices - Conductor, Christie Anderson

Formed in 2002, Adelaide Voices performed at Australia’s major biennial choral festival, ChoralFest 2002 in Brisbane.  It has also joined forces with Adelaide Chamber Singers and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on several occasions for performances by composers as diverse as Bach, Mozart, Pärt and Messiaen.  Following three successful years as conductor of Bella Voce, Christie Anderson became conductor of Adelaide Voices in March, 2007.  In 2009, Christie succeeded Deb Munro as Artistic Director of Young Adelaide Voices (formerly the Adelaide Girls Choir) and will be conducting Aurora (YAV’s alumni choir) on a tour of Canada in July this year.  She is also a core member of Adelaide Chamber Singers, and is one third of the vocal trio Eve.
