A Kind of Blue - Director, Charmaine Jones

Kind of Blue is a jazz choir comprised of students from the University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium of Music.  Members are not only majoring in vocal studies but a wide variety of instruments and subjects therefore creating a very individual group with a unique musical and stage personality.  Kind of Blue has developed a style that is a blend of jazz harmonies, the modern sounds of R'n'B and old roots such as gospel and African based rhythms.
