Professor Aaron Corn

Professor Aaron Corn is a musician and music academic with a background Australian Indigenous music and heritage, and two decades of experience in Australian Indigenous education.

He is Director of both CASM and the National Centre for Aboriginal Language and Music Studies (NCALMS), and teaches across various programs in the Faculty of Arts including the CASM Foundation Year.

He is a past National President of the Musicological Society of Australia and has served on the Australian Research Council College of Experts.

He presently serves as Co-Director of the National Recording Project for Indigenous Performance in Australia (NRPIPA), and is a Member of the Australian Government Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet's National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Curricula Project Expert Panel.

Mr Grayson Rotumah

Mr Grayson Rotumah is one of Australia's most accomplished Indigenous musicians, and is a music academic with more than two decades of experience in Australian Indigenous education.

He presently plays and tours with numerous prominent bands including the internationally-renowned Electric Fields, which is fronted by CASM alumnus, Zaachariaha Fielding.

He teaches in the CASM Foundation Year and the Bachelor of Music (Popular Music), and is the Indigenous Student Mentor in the Faculty of Arts.

He takes a leading role in mentoring Indigenous students completing degree program across the Faculty of Arts, while Indigenous music students, in particular, benefit greatly from his vast knowledge and experience of industry-standard musical composition, performance and recording techniques.
