The Elder Music Library forms one of the most important music collections in Australia, and is one of the largest music library in the Southern Hemisphere.

As well as providing online access to music, scholarly databases and ebooks, it houses books on music, scores, sheet music, collected editions, music journals, DVDs and CDs.

Facilities include extensive wireless reception, desktop computers, private study carrels and audio equipment.
