The Open Music Academy is proud to announce its Regional program. The State Government supported program will provide bursaries & travel support for regional and remote students to travel to Adelaide for Open Music Academy events based at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. The program is intended to enable students, their teachers and family members to attend Open Music Academy events including 1:1 lessons, workshops & masterclasses and public performances. Students of all levels are welcome to apply and advanced students will also be eligible for our Local Stars program.

The Open Music Academy aims to enable regional students’ opportunities to access the world-class tuition and performance resources of the Elder Conservatorium of Music by providing stimulating music education experiences tailored to suit beginner to advanced students. A key focus is to strengthen and develop music making in regional areas, providing greater choice and convenience in music education.

For those new to music, the State Government funding will also support opportunities to hire and borrow instruments from the Conservatorium’s collection and support families with the general upkeep and maintenance of their instruments.

If you are interested in being a part of the Program or for further information, please contact the Open Music Academy.
